About the Clinical Drug Manufacturing Center
We strive to promote the development of new drugs by supporting the production and analysis of top quality medicine and medical supplies.
A key research facility of the Daegu Gyeongbuk Medical Innovation Foundation (DGMIF), the Clinical Drug Manufacturing Center was established to promote the development of new drugs through the manufacture and supply of medicine and medical supplies to pharmaceutical companies or research institutes without the capacity to establish and operate their own medicine and medical supply manufacturing facilities.
The only GMP-compliant public institution with GMP-certified facilities for the production of solids, injections, and pharmaceutical ingredients, the Clinical Drug Manufacturing Center provides contract manufacturing of synthetic drugs. The Center provides a full range of one-stop services—from the procurement of ingredients and manufacturing of drug products to quality control—in cooperation with the New Drug Development Center and the Laboratory Animal Center within the DGMIF.
